Introduce yourself and your goal
Introduce yourself, an interest, and one learning goal.
Start with an achievable exchange. Try: My name is Lin. I enjoy music. I want to read about science in English. These sentences give a name, an interest, and a goal. After want to, use an action such as read, speak, or write. Change a few words before making the sentences longer.
“Improve my English” is hard to check. “Ask when and where an event takes place” can be tested in a conversation. Write I want to followed by one action. Use simple words you know: reading about stars is a valid way to describe an interest in astronomy.
Read your version aloud and check whether the three messages are clear. You do not need to imitate a particular accent. This is a starting task, not a language-level assessment.
Make your understanding visible
Write three introductory sentences and one achievable goal for this week.
Compare with a reference response
My name is Mei. I enjoy drawing. I want to describe one picture in English. Weekly goal: describe three visible details in a photo. Check completeness of meaning before sentence length or accent.
